Coordinate programs and activities for indicated age group
Recruit and support volunteers for programs
Ensure that all Called, Gifted & Sent procedures are being followed
Participates in parish meetings as required and planning meetings for programming as required
Organizes planning meetings from programs
Coordinates the sacramental preparation programs with the supervising member of the pastoral team
Assists coordinator in implementation of sacramental preparation programs
Assists the pastor/pastoral coordinator in the planning of training for volunteers involved in ministry
Assist with training of Altar Servers and prepares and distributes schedules for Altar Servers
Coordinates and assists with weekly Children's Liturgy dismissal
Is available to communicate with parents and other caregivers
Is available for training with the parish or diocese
Is available to teach classes to those preparing for the sacraments using material provided
Organizes and attends appreciate event
Selects music for weekly liturgy
Plans and directs weekly practice
Directs choir during the liturgy

Comfortable with spirituality and faith

Knowledge of Child and Family Services Act
Knowledge and understanding of the order of mass
